Feb. 5. St. Andrew's United Church Women are hosting their annual mid winter home cooked roast beef supper on Friday, Feb. 5 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Christian Education Centre (Accessible), 257 John St. North, Arnprior. Tickets at the door. Everyone Welcome!

Feb. 6. Hot Luncheon at 12:30 p.m. followed by euchre. Prizes are surprise prizes. Held at Oris Mather Hall in the Arnprior Town Hall. Sponsored by Mons Rebekah Lodge.

Feb. 6 and 7. There will be auditions for the Prior Players at the Arnprior Library Saturday Feb. 6 and Sunday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. in the main meeting room. Dates are Jan 30, We are looking for two adult men and two adult women, as well as off stage help.

2010 Knights\Legion Euchre challenge in Arnprior: Feb. 12 at the Legion, Feb. 26 at the Parrish, March 12 at the Legion, March 26 at the Parrish. Registration at 6:30 p.m. and games start at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Feb. 12 and 13. Arnprior Curling Club is hosting a "Curl Up" with your Valentine at the Valentines Bonspiel Feb 12 and 13. It is a mixed spiel where you curl three games. There will be Friday night munchies, a light lunch Saturday and a roast beef dinner on Saturday night. Also Casino games Friday and Saturday and "Saturday Night Fever" dance with a professional DJ. Feb. 13. Valentine's dinner and celebration. Celebrate your commitment to your loved one this Valentine's. Enjoy a small service with spiritual director, Jack Lau, OMI, Share some fruits and veggies while mingling with others who are celebrating, and delight in an intimate roast beef and gravy* dinner (with chocolate tarts and real whipped cream for dessert) in the historic and peaceful setting of Galilee Centre. *Ask about our vegetarian option. Feb. 20. On the third Saturday of the month, January to May at 4:30 p.m. a Eucharistic Liturgy will be celebrated in a contemplative atmosphere in the De Mazenod Chapel at Galilee Centre. Psalm 46 speaks of God's presence and verse 10 highlights our stance, "Be still, and know that I Am God." It is within this context that we choose to gather in prayer. Please call Fr. Wednesday night ladies hockey, Thursday night spaghetti supper and downhill skiing night, Friday family fun night with bonfire, all day activities on Saturday including trivia night and Sunday cross-country ski outing. KANATA

Feb. 5. IT meeting, 1 p.m., The city, partnering with OCRI, will present the five year IT plan to local tech industries and discuss the city's procurement system. Registration is through OCRI. A maximum of three per company can attend.

Feb. 5. Community family movie night! Disney/Pixar "UP" at Kanata Community CRC at 46 Castlefrank Rd. on Friday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. Admission is free but canned goods or a donation for the Kanata Food Cupboard are welcome.
