Man sentenced for sex assaults
Posted Feb 16, 2012 By EMC NewsEMC News - John Paul Cloutier, 45, has received a jail sentence of five years in total following his conviction for sexual assaults occurring in 2009 when he was living in Arnprior.
Cloutier, who had served 18 months in jail already, will spend two years less a day behind bars for his crimes. Cloutier was sentenced in Pembroke court Feb. 3.
He had been charged with two counts of invitation to sexual exploitation, one count of sexual interference, one count of invitation to sexual touching, two counts of child luring, one count of sexual assault, three counts of forcible confinement, one count of facilitate breach of a young person and 16 counts of breach of recognizance.
The incidents occurred in the years 2007 to 2009 and involved victims aged 13 to 17 who were visiting the accused or his residence.
